Membership

Eligibility

Membership in the International Association of Family Support Networks (IAFSN) is open to existing or emerging national Networks of two or more Family Resource Centers (FRCs). Only one member per country is accepted. If there are multiple networks within a country, they are encouraged to collaborate to join as a single national Network.

  • Build relationships with other Network leaders for mutual support and learning exchange

Advance the Field

  • Contribute to the development of the Family Support field

  • Collectively promote the value of Family Resource Centers and Family Resource Center Networks

  • Provide input and vote at IAFSN meetings

 

Build Capacity

  • Access relevant information, resources, and best practice sharing and learning opportunities

  • Be eligible for discounted Member rates for IAFSN trainings and technical assistance

 

Visibility

  • Be recognized as a Member Network on the IAFSN website, the Member Network website, and IAFSN promotional materials

  • Raise the profile of Family Resource Centers and Family Resource Center Networks both domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

Endorse Common Frameworks

  • Support the utilization of common frameworks to align efforts across nations

Collaborate

  • Work together with all Member Networks with mutual respect, support, and cooperation

  • Share relevant information, resources, and expertise with other Member Network​

 

Participate

  • Participate in regular member meetings and events

  • Contribute perspective and expertise by serving on Committees as available

​

Communicate

  • Update Member Network Profile annually

  • Maintain updated contact information for Member Network contacts
